SEBI SCORES

Investors can also lodge complaints through SEBI SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redress System).

When submitting a complaint through SCORES, investors may be required to provide details including:

Investors are advised to use the official SEBI SCORES portal for submitting complaints and tracking their grievance status.

Grievance Resolution Timeline

Under the current SCORES 2.0 process, entities are required to submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) to the complainant within 21 calendar days of receiving the complaint on SCORES. If the investor is not satisfied with the response, the SCORES process provides review mechanisms.

Online Dispute Resolution

Investors who remain dissatisfied with the disposal of their complaint may also use the SMART ODR mechanism, subject to the applicable process and eligibility requirements.

SMART ODR provides an online mechanism for resolving disputes through stages that may include pre-conciliation, conciliation and, where applicable, arbitration. Investors must first take up the complaint with the concerned intermediary before opting for ODR.
